Look, who wants to play Christiane Amanpour!

Priety Zinta‘s role in Lakshya is rumoured to have been based on NDTV anchor Barkha Dutt. Now, Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor is tipped to play CNN anchor Christiane Amanpour in Prakash Jha‘s next film, Satyagraha.

Mail Today reports that Jha visualised Kareena’s role of a reporter who reports at the international level.

“The director was reportedly influenced by the huge fan following that Amanpour, famous for her reportage from war zones, enjoys…. Kareena has been closely observing Amanpour to play the character perfectly. Her look will be modelled on Amanpour’s daily style,” a source was quoted as saying.

I might sound mixed-up in my note!!

I only just began folling the serif column. I’m overjoyed that ANYBODY is hoping to release a film about Ms. Amanpour, one of my heroes. I see that there are many tags in serif which interest me….many names seem to be from India, although text is English in what I’m seeing.

Question: is the film only projected as a film at India and in (gosh I’m not even sure of the name of the local languages there…is it Hindi?? or lots of other dialects??)

Is there any release to American cinemas or dvd’s planned? I don’t live in NY or California so it’s even more difficult to anticipate. I live at the north of Fla, near the
Ga border in the USA (far south).

    Thank you!!

    Peace.
